Meet our new Operations Manager, Carli Bertrand!

Carli is a Wellfleet Native and a proud graduate of Truro Central and Nauset High Schools. She comes to us with extensive experience in marine conservation, event planning, and communications, developed over two decades with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Carli is excellent at building partnerships and working with individuals to create teams to achieve common goals. 

Her previous roles include:

  • Outreach Coordinator for the Office of Habitat Restoration Center, NOAA Fisheries

  • Policy Director & Event Coordinator, The Coastal America Partnership

  • International Fisheries Specialist, The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration

  • Sea Grant Fellow, United States Senate Commerce Committee

  • Her grounding experience continues to be her Peace Corps service, where she served in Senegal, West Africa

Carli holds a Master of Marine Affairs from the University of Rhode Island and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Conservation from the University of Colorado. Carli lives with her dog Luna in Wellfleet.
