Every October, hundreds of volunteers come together to create one of Cape Cod’s most beloved festivals. Whether you are welcoming guests, selling merchandise, slinging beer, recapturing oyster shells, or lending a hand behind the scenes, every volunteer plays an important role in making OysterFest a success.

Every volunteer shift helps support the work of the Wellfleet Oyster Alliance long after OysterFest weekend is over. Proceeds from the festival help fund education, shell recycling, scholarships, harbor studies, community programs, and initiatives that protect and celebrate Wellfleet's shellfishing heritage, with more than $1.2 million invested back into the community to date.

When you volunteer, you're doing more than helping at a festival. You're supporting the people, traditions, and working waterfront that make Wellfleet so special.
