Join the Wellfleet Oyster Alliance and the Massachusetts Oyster Project as we kick-off this year’s shell recycling program. We work with local restaurants to provide recycling containers that are then filled with discarded shells. Our team picks up the containers and returns the shells to the ocean floors or given to a hatchery. To date, we have collected over 58 tons of shells that help to restore natural habitats!
